Google was developed and the purpose of its development was to create a search engine that can crawl as many pages as possible per day. Google was a prototype of two students. This was a clever designed search engine prototype. The students got their grade and this prototype build a great future for them and now it is a multibillion dollar company that is even making rules on the internet. Although the internet is a free realm of internet users around the world, but in some ways you do not sense that you are free to do whatever you want with your website. Your site gets banned and those millions of people who search on Google, won’t be able to find your website based on your keywords.
This search engine, Google was written in C and C++ and has two main features such as: calculation of link structure of a web page ( page rank) and using link to improve the search results. There are over 200 factors in Google’s algorithm.
According to Google, page rank creates order on the World Wide Web. Page rank is calculated applying a simple iterative algorithm. A page rank is calculated based on the amount of visitors that visit a webpage. A visitor can be a returning visitor or a random visitor. There are other factors that determine a page rank’s calculation such as anchor text placement, keyword density, amount of back links to a website and much more that is beyond of the scope of this article.
Google’s engineers have been able to make Google as scalable as possible. That is why this search engine is able to index as many websites and documents possible. This scalability helps our websites to be more visible on the internet.
Google is also a research tool for scholars and researchers. Google is created to scale and evolved to succeed in bottlenecks challenges. The indexing, crawling and sorting algorithm have made the visibility of websites more possible.
