Thank you for your emails. I have already received so many comments, questions and suggestions from people around the world which have helped me to implement more functionality into MAJO3’s various components.
The following is the most frequent questions asked:
What is your motivation of making MAJO3? The story goes back when I was in China. I was a part time student and had a part time job as a teacher at a couple of schools and universities in North East China. One day a friend who was a missionary in China introduced me to a brilliant Chinese student who was blind. I was amazed by her knowledge, outlook about life and her perseverance. This 20 years old Chinese girl lost her parents and was living at a dorm that was designed for blind students in ChungChun located at Jilin province. It was so amazing to converse with her that made me to visit her regularly. We talked just about everything. One day, she told me that she wishes to have a robot that could do everything and be a great companion in the time of loneliness. When we talked about various elements and colors, she had no idea what they looked like such as: red color, white color, the sun, the moon and so on.
Her wish triggered the idea of making a humanoid robot. When I came back to Norway, the idea became stronger in me until I began to write the project’s millstones and design MAJO3‘s shape, components and mechanisms.
What MAJO3 stands for? The two first letters of my first name(MA) and last name(JO) and "3" stands for trinity God's existence in three persons (God the father,God the son [incarnate as Jesus Christ]and God the holy spirit)
Does such robot have a market after manufacturing? Yes.
Who are the
potential costumers? Everybody: companies, housewives, military.
You can program it
Is this robot easy to use? Yes. You need to either enter a PIN number or push a button. That’s it
Does it walk? Yes for duration of 5 hours
Does it talk? Yes
Does it listen? Yes
Does it climb? Yes if it is not higher than 35 centimeters.
Should a person require any computer or electronic knowledge and skills in order to use MAJO3? No, all you need to do is to push a button and give it your command.
Is this robot expensive? I believe with mass production everybody will be able to purchase it.
Demographics and age? Who are the target costumers? People from everywhere between age 13-99 on this planet can use MAJO3.
Is this robot complicated? Yes MAJO3 has complicated mechanisms and devices that I do not want to share it on here and you do not need to know the programming and engineering details.
Can I make money by MAJO3? YES. If you are working as a marketer you can give it your program. Here is an example:
You have a product; you want to know if this product has a market demographically or not.If you choose a good niche etc. You give it your data and questions. MAJO3 analyze it and tells you if it is beneficial to run such business or not. MAJO3 is equipped with the best marketing ideas,marketing strategies, SEO strategies and economic data memory which are restored in MAJO3's memo.
Your Robot reminds me of I-ROBOT, was it your inspiration? No. I have been working on MAJO3 way before then. It's like to say Jules Verne took those ideas in his book from some sci-fi Hollywood movies! A dream of making an intelligent robot has been in us for many decades. This dream inspires some people to make movies.
Can this robot climb
stairs? Yes
Can this robot lift
up something from shelf? YES
Can this robot be a good companion? YES. MAJO3 can be programmed to read different kinds of audio books. You must enter what kind of books you like it to read. The audio books are limited in different categories and can be updated with the upgrading plan.
Can this robot protect me from intruders? YES. It has a defense mechanism that will be triggered by giving him your command or writing your PIN number on the cell phone from distant .
Can I use internet through this robot? YES. It is equipped with wireless network. You won’t need to apply computers anymore and suffer from spasm,lower back problems and so on by sitting in front of computers for hours.
Can MAJO3 write notes? You can dictate to MAJO3 what you want to write and it writes it for you, then you may plug in to a printer in case if you want to print out your text.
Can I have a video conference through this robot? Yes. It has audio and visual devices.
Will this robot functions in water? NO
Do I have to upgrade the robot? Where? Yes .on the internet.
Does this robot help me to create graphic for my products? YES
Does this robot answers to all of my questions? It depends on the nature of your question
Does this robot answers to my friend’s question? NO. It recognizes ONLY YOUR VOICE.
